The Chardonnay is Etyeki Kúria’s only lengthily aged white wine. The raw material comes from two vineyards – Öreghegy in Etyek and Nagy-Látó-hegy in Alcsútdoboz. Thanks to the limestone subsoil, excellent raw material can be harvested even in years of drought. It was fermented in tanks, in which 70% of it was also aged, while 30% was matured in new 300-litre barrels. Thanks to the warmer weather conditions, it has classic tropical notes and a discernible pineapple flavour. Gentle acidity, beautifully integrated oak and barrel creaminess characterize the palate.
