One of the stable pillars of our Chardonnay selection, every year it beautifully exemplifies the terroir's charm and the talent of chief winemaker Sándor Mérész. The base material comes from Etyek (deep, well-draining, compact brown forest soil on limestone) and Alcsútdoboz (loess on limestone, with patches of brown forest soil). Fermentation was carried out in tank and barrel. During the ageing period, 80% of the wine was matured in tanks, while 20% was aged in new 300-litre oak barrels on fine lees for 12 months. After blending the different batches, it rested in bottles for an additional 3 months to reveal its most beautiful expression in the glass. On the nose, it exudes fresh notes of lime, green apple, peach and citrus. On the palate, the freshness of green apple and pear dominates, complemented by subtle, buttery and creamy oak notes. Elegant, soft acidity gently guides the mouthfeel, finishing with a long, balanced and creamy aftertaste.
