MSV, short for Mérész Sándor Vision, is a collection of the head winemaker’s experimental batches, through which we can explore Sándor Mérész’s passion for innovation. These exciting wines intentionally depart from the familiar, polished style of Etyeki Kúria, while maintaining a constant level of precision and high quality.

This wine bears the name Konkrét, a play on the English word ‘concrete’, and a clear reference to the concrete tank used during winemaking. This ageing vessel enriches the wine with a distinctive character, adding a new dimension to the Chardonnay style of Etyek. Hand-harvested grapes picked at multiple times from the Öreghegy vineyard in Etyek and the Nagy-Látóhegy vineyard in Alcsútdoboz. After gentle pressing, the wine was fermented in concrete tanks and aged on fine lees for 12 months, followed by three months of bottle ageing after being bottled. A broad aromatic profile with yellow-fleshed fruits, citrus and almond blossom. On the palate, notes of summer apple, lime, Williams pear and subtle salinity. Lively acidity, a long finish and a creamy texture.
