Előd’s pristinely pure and energetic wines have brought new momentum to our Etyek selection. He works with only a few varieties, but he knows them thoroughly and brings out their very best flavours. In the Sauvignon Blanc, the variety’s characteristic, vibrant green notes and pronounced aromas are complemented by fine details. On the palate, there is both considerable mouthfeel and creaminess, alongside subtle bitterness and salinity, with great flavours. Four different sites, four different harvests, with the must racked into stainless steel tanks, chilled ice-cold, then confidently fermented.
“The main goal was to put together a more characterful, more substantial Sauvignon than before, with a bite on the palate and with plenty of fruit. This path and this style really appeal to me now.” – says Előd.
