Előd’s pristinely-pure and energetic wines have brought new vitality to our Etyek selection. He works with only a few grape varieties, but knows them thoroughly and brings out their very best flavours. For the new vintage of Sauvignon Blanc, harvesting took place from late August to the end of September, with six harvest days within one month, six separate fermentations and finally a single blending. Even with completely reductive vinification, they’ve managed to evolve the familiar green profile into a more polished and layered character. It’s remarkable that in such a warm vintage, they achieved balance with ripe flavours, while keeping the alcohol content at just 11.5%.
