The 10-hectare estate is surrounded by three rivers: directly in front of it is the Danube, which can be followed by the eye as far as the Esztergom Basilica. The Ipoly runs behind it, and the Garam winds around its western side. Although 300-year-old cellars can still be found in one of the loess walls of the village, winemaking has almost completely ceased in this area during the last 30 years. Because of the rivers, this place is almost like a reserve, where mouflon still live to this day, and the local natural waters were previously defined by the sturgeon, which is also depicted on the label. The andesite hill between the three rivers is called Burda, with clay-loess on a volcanic base soil.
Based on good Austrian practices, the Zöldveltelini (Grüner Veltliner) was made 100% reductively and it turned out precisely tuned to lively acidity and a pure fruity character, alongside the mineral flavours. It was pressed after 12 hours of skin contact, then fermented in temperature-controlled tanks. Owing to the location and the quality of the soil, the palate is full, dense and deeply mineral.
