Gyula Szabó and his handful of lively helpers changed the composition towards an even more harmonious palate in this vintage: it’s a blend of two-thirds Olaszrizling from Kál, and one-third of Riesling from Badacsony. It was spontaneously fermented in tanks, in which it was also matured for a couple of months. Such fruits come out that we have never felt in it before: apricot and peach, alongside the classic white flower and green apple notes. And of course, there’s the trademark salty minerality of the wine region.
