The Botts’ top Muzsla wine, from the hills above the River Garam and from the trio of Juhfark, Furmint and Hárslevelű. A thick, richly textured, exciting and mineral wine. Pure, dynamic wine structure, with density courtesy of the Juhfark, the backbone of Furmint and the floral and fruity notes of Hárslevelű. A long, mineral blend from biodynamic cultivation.
It was love at first sight when I first laid my eyes upon the nine hectares which lie on Öreg-hegy (Old Hill) at the confluence of the Danube and the Garam rivers, the latter which after running down the Slovakian hills quietens down on the plain.
