The winery’s ‘estate wine’ and simultaneously one of its most exciting blends. The 2024 vintage is particularly pure and structured, with the pronounced presence of Riesling complemented by important contributions from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc. The grapes come from the Muzsla vineyards, from vines of varying ages, and the vinification is as gentle as possible: partial skin contact with a mix of whole bunches and destemmed grapes, followed by careful pressing. The must is fermented in used oak barrels and aged on fine lees, then bottled without filtering or fining. A lively, precisely crafted wine. Aromas of tea and jasmine flowers, with a rich, citrusy palate, featuring notes of peach and green apple. It clearly displays the character of Muzsla, unmistakably in the style of Frigyes Bott.

It was love at first sight when I first laid my eyes upon the nine hectares which lie on Öreg-hegy (Old Hill) at the confluence of the Danube and the Garam rivers, the latter which after running down the Slovakian hills quietens down on the plain.
