The biodynamically cultivated crop coming from the Muzsla estate is fermented lengthily in vats, then Frigyes fills the smaller part of the wine into new barrels, and finally bottles it without filtering and fining. The outcome speaks for itself: freshly picked forest fruit, full of raspberries, and complete Pinot Noir character. The palate goes through a medley of red berries, and the oak accompanies it elegantly. We recommend it slightly chilled, from a burgundy glass.
It was love at first sight when I first laid my eyes upon the nine hectares which lie on Öreg-hegy (Old Hill) at the confluence of the Danube and the Garam rivers, the latter which after running down the Slovakian hills quietens down on the plain.
