When the minerality of the banks of the River Garam meets the depth of Öreg Hill, exceptional wines are always created. To preserve these primary terroir notes, the vinification doesn’t deviate from the usual: whole-bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation and barrel aging. As Bott Frigyes says: “We use this method because we believe that skin contact also obscures the terroir, and we want to showcase the terroir in our wines.”
