Olaszrizling plays the most significant role among the three varieties on the small half-hectare estate. It grows on a total of 0.18 hectares in neat rows on volcanic soil, at the foot of Somló Hill. A true classic, it embodies that rare stony, fiery character that can only be found in wines from Somló. The palate is robust, ripe and warm, with a long, mineral finish.
