The most important grape variety of the Somló wine region. Sorting was followed by whole-bunch pressing, then the wine was fermented and aged partly in steel tanks and partly in barrels. It’s characterised by rich minerality with taut but not excessive acidity. Warmer-toned citrus, grapefruit, tangerine and, in addition to the subtle saltiness, a touch of pear also appears. It’s a harmonious and varietally pure wine, with a long finish.
