The base is Cabernet Franc, which is complemented by Merlot, Syrah and Sagrantino. The character of the cooler, more protected, red-clay soil vineyard of the Bati-kereszt clearly appears in the wine – it’s lighter, ethereal, softer, with a lot of fruit and intense, medicinal herb aromas.
