The centrepiece of the range, the selection of the best barrels, a business card from the winemaker. This year, half is Kékfrankos, 30% is Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% is Kadarka, and the remaining 5% is Merlot and Syrah. The Baranya-völgy and Faluhely vineyards, organic cultivation since 2020. The separately fermented varieties were blended half a year after the harvest, then the wine was aged for a year in large oak barrels and for another year and a half in bottles. While the ‘Mixed Red’ of the two blends is the uncut version and the raw power, this wine is much more about winemaking fine-tuning, selection, finesse, ageing and rounded edges. The structure of the palate is soft, but the subtly sour finish typical of the winemaker is not absent here, either. It was a no-brainer that this wine would be the central label of the cellar's new image.
