“Like a sudden gust of wind from a calm sea, this wine completely stirred up our usual rosé world. I showed Csabi fuller, more complex French rosés several times, and then we started experimenting. Our acid-rich Szentgál Kékfrankos was complemented by selected Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, also used in our Iván-völgy Bikavér, which brought the necessary layers and fullness. We aged it for half a year on fine lees and stirred it 1-2 times a month.” Csilla Sebestyén.
A serious rosé based on Bikavér grapes, with sweet cherry and stone fruit flavours, elegant structure, fine acidity and a long palate.
