The Provençal style Szél rosé is made from grapes yielded from three vineyards. Kékfrankos (55%) forms the backbone of the wine, while Cabernet Franc (26%) and Merlot (19%) bring additional fruitiness and roundness. The grapes were hand-harvested, with bunches carefully selected before fermentation in stainless steel. Its creaminess – a hallmark of 5 months of ageing on fine lees – distinguishes it from most domestic rosés. The result is a unique, elegant and delightfully drinkable wine that gives the best experience when lightly chilled.
