Lively, clean and cheerful. Ernő calls the rare variety, of which he also planted a few rows in the Dévás vineyard, next to the 240-year-old rowan tree, Kadar. A colourful, fragrant and easily recognizable variety that often overrules the character of the vineyards, which is why the two lines on the label have now changed places. It ripens a week earlier than the Kadarka, and often comes with Nebbiolo notes and lively aromas. The destemmed grapes were fermented for nearly two weeks in open vats, and after pressing, the wine was aged for two years in barrels and for half a year in tanks. It was bottled in June 2022 without filtering. It has a pomegranate colour, pollen and oilseed rape notes, and is gently cloudy, with an unfiltered appearance. It is lively, juicy in the mouth with an open structure, little tannin and good drinkability. A total of 376 bottles were made of it.
