This is one of Ernő's last wines from the place that got its name from the kite that circles above it. Another characteristic of the vineyard that’s protected by bordering forest is that here, in addition to the sound of kites, you can also clearly hear the bell of the nearby monastery in Görgeteg. The total area of one hectare was planted in 2009, with 90% Furmint vines, plus a few Kadarka ones.
The 2019 vintage bears – in addition to the usual stone fruits – subtle oxidative notes, the energetic flavours of grapes and fermentation. The structure of the palate is decorated with phenolic lees character. It was spontaneously fermented in used barrels, in which it was also aged. Bottling was unfiltered with a total sulphur content of 23 mg/l.
