One of Ernő’s last wines from the place that was named after the kites that circle above it. Another characteristic of the forest protected vineyard is that here, in addition to the sound of kites, you can also clearly hear the bell of the nearby monastery in Görgeteg. The total area of one hectare was planted in 2009, except for a few Kadarka vines, with 90% Furmint vines. The 2018 vintage was about wine with a warmer tone and softer acidity. After the harvest, the destemmed grapes were macerated for half a day, then the settled must was put into barrels and spontaneously fermented. It was aged on lees until the spring of 2020, then bottled at the end of 2021. It has a ripe and broad structure, a warm character, aromas of meadow flowers and yellow apples, then soft edges and a full palate, with a mineral finish.
