Veres vineyard, Mád. Volcanic soil, concentrated raw material – this is where the Orange Furmint begins. Harvested on September 9, 2024, it underwent 15 days of fermentation on the skins, then it was rested in 400-litre Hungarian oak barrels until bottling, in June 2025.
Zoli introduced this wine with the aim of allowing a Tokaj wine to accompany an entire dinner – not just as an aperitif or as a dessert pairing, but as a true partner at the table.
Golden-amber in colour, with aromas of orange peel, pineapple, beeswax and white lily.
Subtle tannins, vibrant acidity and white-fleshed fruits on the palate. Skin contact adds texture, yet the structure remains controlled throughout. The backbone comes from the poise of Furmint and the minerality of the Veres vineyard.

„Maybe this special vintage was necessary so that after 13 years myself and Bortársaság could get to know each other again. The vintage made it obvious that something is happening in the world that both nature and winemaker should adapt to. The starlings knew what their task was: they arrived a month early, and we started the harvest at the beginning of September, instead of the usual end of October. One can only make good wine in big freedom, and a credible estate wine is only made if people stand behind it and the place of growth verifies them. This is more and more important in my thinking.”
