2016 started out as a tumultuous year, with a rainy summer, hail and lots of extremes, but in the end, everything fell into the right place for a good harvest in September. The Indian summer made it possible for the grapes to ripen slowly but evenly, so it was possible to harvest beautiful raw material in October. It’s a very dynamic, lively aszú with tropical fruitiness and exceptional ageing potential.
