The 2023 Kassai Hárslevelű is a lovely example of the fresh yet complex style of the Tokaj wine region. White flowers, citrus fruit and subtle herbal notes on the nose, while the palate is fresh and lively. A restrained bitterness emerges in the middle of the wine, beautifully balancing the harmonious structure. The base material comes from the high-altitude loess and volcanic Kassai vineyard, where the Hárslevelű vines are 15 years old. Fermentation was carried out spontaneously in barrels, and the wine was aged there for another six months. As a result, the gentle influence of the oak enhances the wine's elegance, while preserving its fresh, pure Tokaj character.
