Among the estate’s six vineyards, Sajgó is by far the most distinctive. Volcanic tuff, obsidian and red clay intermingle around the roots of the nearly 60-year-old Furmint vines. The vineyard’s characteristic salinity and vibrant minerality permeate the wine, which feels incredibly deep despite never having spent a single day in barrel.
