Royal Tokaji’s 5 puttonyos Aszú, also known as the ‘Blue Label’, is a true bestseller and one of the best-known botrytised, sweet Tokaj wines around the world. The 2019 vintage is both spicy and sweetly fruity, oozing white-fleshed peach, along with ripe plum mixed with honey.

The botrytized aszú berries were macerated for two days in the fermenting must, then after pressing, the wine was transferred to the traditional ageing cellars of the Mád estate, where fermentation and maturation continued for a further two years in 300- and 500-litre Zemplén oak barrels.
