Although the large part of the variety now serves as the basis of the traditional method sparkling wines at the Sauskas' estate in Tokaj, after a year's absence, one of the classics of the Tokaj cellar, the green-label Chardonnay, has been made again. It’s a rich, flavoursome, vibrant wine with peach, apple, acacia honey, melon, chamomile and fine stoniness. Only reductive ageing on fine lees for a few months.
