The crop comes from three Tállya vineyards with colourful soils, selected from the andesite and rhyolite soil of the Bohomály, the Hasznos and the Somszög vineyards, from 40-year old vines (which is old for vines but young for a winemaker). It was spontaneously fermented in 400-litre barrels and aged for 8 months on fine lees. A richly fruity, mineral Furmint with good drinkability, a touch of barrel and crispy acids, then a long, high alcohol palate.
