The Barakonyi vineyard in Bodrogkeresztúr has been a defining vineyard of the estate from the beginning, where 0.7 hectares of Furmint are grown organically. The warm and dry vintage allowed for the making of lively and balanced wines. After gentle pressing, the must was spontaneously fermented in oak barrels, then aged for five months in 4-5 year old, 220-litre Zemplén oak barrels. Aromas of pear, mint and pollen dominate, complemented by subtle oak notes. The palate is rich, complex, long and mineral.
