Attila Gere made the first Járdovány in 2009, and since then, for several vintages, they have been studying the character of this indigenous Hungarian grape variety, which is most similar to Kadarka-Pinot Noir-Kéfrankos wines, with their lighter, acid-accented character. It has a deep purplish colour, the nose is spicy and very lively with black berry fruit. The rare variety is grown on a total of 0.8 hectares in the wine region, all on the Gere estate.
