The vintage

In 2023, a relatively mild and rainy winter was followed by a cooler spring and a pleasantly warm but wet summer. Precision and good timing in the vineyard therefore played a particularly important role. During harvest, however, the weather was beautiful, mostly dry and warm, allowing the winery to choose the ideal picking time for each vineyard. Both the quality and quantity of the crop exceeded expectations.

Tasting notes

Deep, dense purple in colour, with impressive concentration. The nose reveals ripe plum and blueberry alongside cinnamon, vanilla and a subtle violet character, complemented by graphite, tobacco and delicate chocolate notes. The palate is youthful, concentrated and vibrant, with fine tannins, beautifully integrated oak and a long finish.

• ageing: 16 months in 80% new and 20% second-fill barrels
