Gere Portugieser has been a popular choice for lovers of lighter wines for years. Harvested from the Villány and Nagyharsány areas, the grapes come from several vineyards. After the harvest, it was cooled and fermented in tanks in order to preserve the fresh, fruity notes, and then it was rested for 4 months in a 50-hectolitre ászok barrels. The primary notes are pure, yet the fresh, red, sour red berries are dominant, and the spicy notes of the barrel also appear in this fresh red wine.
