100% Cabernet Franc, which is the main variety of Villány and also that of Gábor Kiss. It’s a blend of two French clones from the Kisharsány vineyard. Low yield, spontaneous fermentation, then after the rough pre-filtering, it was bottled unfined. It was aged for 14 months in new and second-fill French barrels, followed by brief bottle ageing. Restrained notes on the nose and the palate, yet it has an obvious Cabernet character. Black berry fruits, cassis, plus flowers. As the label also calls the consumers’ attention to – it needs time, and can be aged for as long as 20 years.
