100% Merlot from a French clone with tiny berries, which were grown at the highest point of the Bocor vineyard, in Kisharsány. A low yield with just 20 hectolitres of wine made from the one-hectare plot. It was spontaneously fermented, then without fining, it was put into three second-fill barrels and a new one. It was given 12 months of ageing in French and 500-litre barrels. Poured into the glass, it starts with intense red berry fruits and restrained animal notes. Tangible fleshy fruit on the palate, while behind the juiciness, the spiciness of the oak also appears. It’s a very balanced wine with great ageing potential.
