The 2022 Enigma delivers everything we've come to expect from this wine, and then some. The core comes from small-berried, thick-skinned French Merlot clones grown in the Boczor vineyard. Spontaneous fermentation, aged in new and second-fill French oak barrels, unfiltered bottling. The nose begins with subtle leather notes, then gradually unfolds in layers: blackcurrant, black cherry, anise, dried herbs and tobacco. The palate is taut and deep, with dense acidity and clear ageing potential. Full-bodied with a long finish.
