Gábor Kiss has made his first barrel-aged rosé. When composing the wine, the main consideration was the lowest alcohol paired with the highest acidity. 70% of it is Kékfrankos, from an Austrian clone growing on the Siklós hilltop, and 30% is Merlot from Kisharsány. The Merlot was added for its gentleness, while the Kékfrankos was put into it owing to its leanness and steely quality. It was aged in French, Sylvain barrels of 500 litres in size, for 8 months. Restrained and elegant, with the harmony of subtle oak and fruit notes.
