The clay, loess soil of the Jammertal vineyard in Villány favours the Syrah grape variety. The calcium-rich loess gives higher-acidity, lively, fruit-accented wines, here complemented by the spiciness characteristic of Syrah. It was aged for 36 months in 300-litre French barrels. Intense spices, black pepper and vanilla on the nose, along with ripe black berry fruits. Blueberry, blackberry and soft tannins appear on the long, rich palate.
