A ‘light red’ wine made from Kékfrankos by the Ruppert winery. After handpicking, it underwent 3 days of fermentation on the skins before being pressed. The colour is deep raspberry, with cherry, sour cherry and rosehip notes dominating the nose and palate, accompanied by excellent acidity and a slightly bitter finish. It’s worth trying this ‘garden’ wine, well-chilled, on summer evenings for a delightful outcome.
