“We have one Franc plantation. It is a special place with light-coloured, loess soil and great balance in the vineyard.” — Ákos Ruppert
It was harvested after the warm summer, but before shriveling, in perfect phenolic ripeness. Following the sorting of the berries, it was fermented in open vats with punching down. It was pressed at the time when fermentation finished, aged in tanks and new oak for one to one-and-a-half years. Pure aromas on the nose and the palate with nicely proportioned oak and substance, lots of fruit, plum and carnation aromas. A distinctive and modern Villány Franc in a magnum bottle.
