A blend of Merlot, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, selected from the fruit of Sauska’s most important vineyards (Ördögárok, Konkoly, Makár and Kopár). To preserve its fruit-driven character, fermentation took place in tank, followed by 15 months of ageing in oak barrels (20% new, 80% used). A recognisable Mediterranean character, with notes of black cherry and ripe plum. The finish reveals leathery notes and a hint of tobacco.
