The crop of the famous Makár, Konkoly, Kopár and Ördögárok vineyards – the larger part is from Bordeaux varieties, plus there’s a share from local heroes: the spicy, sour cherry of Kékfrankos and the plumy, vibrant Kékoportó. Three-quarters of it was aged in tanks, the rest in used oak for eight months. Deep red colour, raspberry, blackberry, ripe plum aromas on the nose. Medium-bodied with lots of fruit and a long palate.
