When one thinks of Villány, Kékfrankos might not be the first grape variety that springs to mind. However, this region can produce real treasures with this variety. After harvesting, it was fermented in tanks and aged for 10 months in oak barrels. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour, with aromas of pure cherry, sour cherry, subtle cocoa and a hint of smokiness. On the palate, it reveals soft yet vibrant tannins, harmonious acidity and flavours of concentrated cherry, a touch of vanilla and oaky notes. A truly warm-toned and sophisticated red wine with great drinkability.
