Sauska Rosé is a true master of renewal. Every spring it changes vintage, and stylistically it has also undergone a strong restart. Originally following a darker, more Villány-style direction, in recent years it has shifted toward lighter, Provençal-style examples, while retaining its local character thanks to the Kékfrankos grape variety.

Instead of being overtly fruity, this rosé has shifted to more refined and fresh aromas, adopting a brighter tone both in appearance and style. It has launched a new wave and has remained one of the leading wines in the Sauska portfolio ever since. From the 2025 harvest comes another exciting wine, which is both food-friendly and perfect for spritzers, and will accompany you from spring all the way through to September.

“Rosé has become part of our identity. It has turned into an icon, like Cuvée 7. Year after year, this is the first young wine we take out onto the terrace in Villány. It’s there with us at the moment of renewal, when the sun comes out, the vines begin to turn green, and the whole landscape, along with Szársomlyó, comes to life.
