A fresh fruity nose, bursting with sweet blueberry and blackberry aromas, accented by violets and the vibrancy of a spring meadow. On the palate, blackberry juice dominates, complemented by white and black pepper, cardamom and a light touch of oak. Medium-bodied and juicy, lively and dynamic.

The 2023 Syrah is made entirely from grapes from the Csukma vineyard. Located near the renowned Makár vineyard in the cooler Siklós region, Csukma delivers a quality reserved exclusively for premium wines. A true hidden gem, its perfect southern exposure and elevation create a unique mesoclimate where red grapes thrive naturally. Only Bordeaux varieties and Syrah are cultivated in this vineyard.

The hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes were gently crushed and soaked briefly. After a few hours of cold maceration, fermentation began in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. This was followed by a 20-day maceration to emphasise the variety’s primary characteristics. After gentle pressing, the wine underwent 10 months of oak barrel aging (10% in new barrels).
