In the year 1860, Emilia Romagna, Italy – Cleto Chiarli founded one of the region’s most esteemed wineries, where every step, whether in winemaking or balsamic vinegar production, is approached with humble expertise and meticulous care. The bottle and label were modelled on a preserved 1892 Chiarli Lambrusco design, further emphasising the connection to tradition. The local varietal (Lambrusco di Sorbara) is harvested north of Modena for this wine, which is paler in colour and more floral than most Lambrusco, revealing a bright, acidity-driven character. After brief maceration, it was cooled and slowly fermented in pressurised tanks, then filtered and bottled with minimal residual sugar (8 g/l). Dark rosé colour, ripe wild strawberry aromas and a vibrant mousse, with a dry palate. Serve well-chilled and open firmly, with confidence.
