The Barbera grape shows its loveliest side on the south-facing vineyard around Agliano Terme. It was made 100% from Barbera, the region’s iconic variety that was aged in small oak barrels for 12 months, then for another year in the bottle before it was released. It has a deep ruby colour with purplish tints, violet, cinnamon and leather notes appear on the nose. The aromas are rich and fruity with plum, cherry and cocoa. The palate is complex with good acidity and pleasant tannins.
