The Antinori family’s Tormaresca estate, located in the northern part of Salento and directly connected to the Adriatic Sea, spans nearly 400 hectares of meticulously cultivated vineyards, surrounded by an additional 85 hectares of olive groves. The harvest is immediately followed by precise processing. After gentle pressing, the must is cooled down to 10°C and allowed to settle for 24 hours to preserve its clarity and freshness. Fermentation is carried out exclusively in stainless steel tanks, which helps retain the Chardonnay's natural fruitiness and vibrant character. Brief ageing, also conducted in tanks, ensures the flavours unfold with pristine purity.
It has an elegant straw-yellow hue, accented by subtle green tints. The nose is refined and inviting, evoking the freshness of white fruits, such as ripe peach, mango and crisp green apple, harmoniously spiced up by floral notes of jasmine. On the palate, it is impressively aromatic and refreshing, with intense flavours of tropical fruits – mango and passion fruit, along with peach – beautifully intertwined with a delicate hint of playful, marshmallow-like sweetness. The wine’s fresh acidity and flavoursome finish linger gracefully, exuding true elegance.
