One of the world’s most popular Bolgheris, which was named after the Macchia del Bruciato forest, near the estate, where the Cinta Senesi pigs live. It’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Rich aromas of sour cherry, vanilla, coffee and blackberry. The round palate has smooth tannins, refreshing acidity, prunes, blackcurrants, and dark chocolate on the finish. It was fermented in tanks and barrels, then aged for a year in barrique and bottles.
