The first vintage of Vermentino was made in 1996. The goal was to rediscover and showcase this local variety, which has been highly valued since the 1990s for its intense aromatics and fresh character. The macroclimate of Bolgheri, with its proximity to the sea, constant breezes and excellent exposure, is particularly well suited to its cultivation.

These factors give the wine its characteristic minerality, vibrant acidity and rich aromatic profile. Each parcel was harvested separately based on the ripeness of the grapes, in order to preserve and highlight the character of the individual vineyards. After arrival, the bunches were destemmed, gently crushed and softly pressed. The must was transferred into stainless steel tanks, in which fermentation took place at 16°C. The individual lots were carefully and systematically selected, then blended to create the final wine.

Its colour is straw yellow with subtle greenish tints. Intense, fresh citrus, floral and fruity notes unfold on the nose, with orange blossom and peach leading the way. On the palate, it is lively, well-structured and saline, with the citrus profile lingering long into a fresh, harmonious finish.
