The groundbreaking New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is unveiled by its vintage. Gentle pressing, 24-hour settling, fermentation in French barrels, a small portion of which were new oak, with local yeasts. Aged in the same barrels. Initially closed on the nose, but then it unfolds with subtle tropical, honeyed and graphite notes. Flavours of peach, citrus fruits, delicious brioche with a complex layer of toasted nuts. The fine linearity of the acidity and enticing salty minerality balance the intense fruitiness. Thus, Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc becomes noble, replacing boldness with finesse. Long, restrained, truly noble. A great experience.
One of Marlborough’s first wineries – established in 1985 – which put New Zealand on the world wine map. It harvests Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, among other varieties, from the best vineyards and rare parcels from the plantations of two emblematic wine regions – Marlborough and Central Otago.
