A chemical-free, organically-cultivated wine made from local varieties, spontaneously fermented and not complicated by technology. Or is it a Pét-Nat? It was bottled with a few grams of residual sugar, just enough to make it slightly effervescent when opened. Poured into the glass, it is an opalescent, rustic and vibrant wine with cider, yellow apple, citrus, hazelnut, and a sour, spicy finish. Azal, Arinto, Avasso, Trajadura and Loureiro. The goal was to resurrect a type of wine that was once typical in Vinho Verde. The fresh 2022 vintage brought with it even more citrus and subtle yeasty flavours than last year.
